I'm a vet. I live with Denise (my wife) and two virtually adult offspring; Emily (17) and Nathan (21). Originally from Fife, I have lived in Kent for nearly 15 years. When I was younger I was ambitious and didn't have time for anything but work and the family but now I know that to be happy and effective you must nourish yourself. Many in my profession burn out. I grew up with photography (my Father was a freelance photographer and writer). This was in the '60's and '70's and predominantly he worked in black and white prints. When I see his work now I'm impressed, proud, and also a bit guilty; I didn't appreciate his talent and skill. I've dabbled with various creative arts for years - drawing, sculpture, and photography. Up until now I've not put much effort into photography. This year I shall.
