I'm a keen amateur photographer living near to the beautiful Roman-walled city of York.

Photo tastes range wide, covering landscapes, cityscapes, flowers and people. The beauty of Yorkshire makes for an endless supply of inspiration; and despite my Scottish birth, Yorkshire is unquestionably my favourite place in the world!

My photographic hero is Magnum's STEVE McCURRY and my house is littered with many of his wonderful books! If only I could take at least one image in my life that gets close to his standards...
