From my early childhood days in Malaysia I have always enjoyed the natural outdoor world, with its rich tropical fauna and flora. Now living in New Zealand, I have developed a love of photography, and my two passions go well together. Photography gives me another dimension to the outdoor experience and allows me to see the beauty in the world we live in.

I am a structural engineer, and have run my own one man business since 1996. After the Christchurch earthquakes of 2010 -2011 we moved to Auckland to escape the soul destroying bureaucracy of the ensuing insurance debacles. As it turns out I retained my Christchurch client base even though I lived in Auckland.....the internet and cellular network are wonderful things! 

So I now feel I have the best of both worlds, access to the stunning beaches, coastlines and seas of the warmer north, and yet flying frequently to Christchurch to catch up with site works and the beautiful South Island outdoors. Covid slowed things up for a while, but things are almost back to "normal" now.
