I live in Kilkenny but I'm a homesick Geordie. Came to Ireland to do an art degree in my forties but I got ME ten years ago and since you can't teach art sitting down, had to earn money doing something less physically demanding. I'm all better now, so a Blip a day is retraining my eye and teaching me about digital photography. Being of a Certain Age a tiny pension has taken a bit of pressure off and allowed me to buy myself a compact with lots of bells and whistles so the learning curve is vertical. Just how I like it.

Bikes, books and vegetable gardening (not the other sort at which I am a dunce). Driving quite fast and getting dressed up. Going places on my own. Black cats.
