I have recently retired and now have time to learn how to use my camera.  Posting a blip a day has greatly increased my skills from the basics of using a tripod and thinking about apertures and shutter speeds.  I now have a lot of software books to work my way through and discover how else I can present my shots.

I have yet to discover my favourite types of photography but appreciate the great wealth of creative photos posted and commentaries.

Any technical comments are welcome I'm at the very beginning of the learning curve.
