Hi my name is Rachel and about 4 years ago I moved out of the city to enjoy country life.

My family is made up of an assortment of waifs and strays... my husband, 2 spaniels, 1 three legged Yorkshire terrier who has only recently joined out pack, 12 hens and a cockerel.
In addition I have 9 step grandchildren.

I am fortunate to work from home with the very occasional day spent in my company's London Waterloo office. Both setting have the advantage of interesting landscapes... home has large country views and in the winter the sunrises and sun sets can be spectacular, the office offers a high rise panoramic landscape of London.
I enjoy art and have dabbled in watercolour and oils as well as occasional photography... this year I have decided to restart my daily journal but in addition to my paper journal I have decided to join Blip for a photographic record of my year.
