I was born in Monkseaton, Northumberland which is where I still live. My working life as a shop assistant was spent in Whitley Bay. When I retired I took off to Australia for 3 months spending 6 weeks with a niece and 6 weeks on a camping tour round the whole of Oz. Since my return my feet have never touched the ground as I got the Bug. I have been to some Wonderful places but when the plane flies over Newcastle I feel like I am home.Monkseaton is where my heart is.Retirement means you wonder how you fitted everything in. I joined a sewing class which is great fun and now I am on here.Goodness knows why when my photography leaves a lot to be desired.
