Originally from Germany I have lived in London for about 34 years now. I am still as fascinated by this city and its inhabitants as when I first arrived. In a way even more so now since I discovered photography and got completely hooked on it. My way of seeing has changed, I have become more observant of what goes on around me. Even waiting at bus stops becomes interesting now as everything is a potential photo. I never thought that street photography would become my favourite photo genre as I felt too shy and anxious but I just fell into it by chance. There are some days when I feel more confident than others but it definitely is something I want to pursue. It has the primeval element of hunter and gatherer about it, collecting interesting images from the visual overload around me.
