This is the blip blog for The Research Journalism Initiative:

It is a organization that fuses media, activism, and education to change the way students learn about socio-economic, religious and geopolitical conflict. Palestinians living in the West Bank produce eduactional films, radio programs and photographic exhibitions about their lives in a conflict zone. This material is translated to English and incorporated into curriculum in high school classrooms across the United States and Europe. RJI then facilitates live videoconferences between Palestinian and American students to encourage dialogue and critical thinking by bringing new perspectives into the classroom.

Blipfoto has been a great way to give Palestinian participants a vehicle for expression.
