Finally catching up with my dream to live in the mountains, I am leaving Manchester after nine glorious years of thrills + wheels + wonders of work + play to embark on a new adventure : a life in les Alpes françaises. Equipped with my blue-eyed boy + a new totally excellent camera, I intend to capture every moment; whether the occasion caught is glorious or glum, happy or haunting, it will be recorded + scribed about; for a woop-a-ha, anything could happen + we're ready for anything!

The countdown is 2 weeks until departure, and with a crippling mixture of emotions, I thought I'd start the journal early- to clock these final moments of furious finishing of projects and drawn-out farewells to some people I would like to remember forever.
