Having been influenced for some years by the wonderful photography of the Blackheath Blippers and the tuition of Hobbs, I've finally taken the plunge and joined up.
My New Year's resolution for 2020 is to take more photos - hopefully Blipfoto will give me the inspiration I need.
Now living in Blackheath at the top of the Blue Mountains, 1.5hrs drive west of Sydney, I was born in Nelson NZ. As a young boy, before flying was common, I travelled by ship from Nelson to Wellington through the notorious French Pass where the legendary Risso's Dolphin "Pelorus Jack" used to keep seafarers safe from harm. The story has remained with me to this day, some 65+ years later.
