I am a Sound Designer, Re-recording Mixer, Sound Supervisor and Location Sound Recordist and I have worked in film and television for 30 years; I have also written professionally on sound and broadcasting-related matters for over 20 of those.
I practise my art from my own studios - The Audio Suite - and in conjunction with this work I am currently engaged in a self-funded, part-time PhD at The University of York, researching 'Emotion in Sound Design'.
I carry out my most constructive thinking by riding motorcycles, sailing or by simply sitting perfectly still.
