I started my "Photo A Day Challenge" on new years day 2013 with the idea of documenting my first complete calendar year as a resident on the Isle of Mull. I never expected to keep this going for more than a couple of months but before I knew it I had completed my first year and taken a hell of a lot more pictures that I would have done otherwise.
I had intended to stop after a year but I’ve become so used to carrying my camera around everywhere and yes, it gets addictive or at least it did once the pressure of completing a whole year has been and gone. While I’m still finding inspiration I will carry on, as soon as it becomes a chore it’s time to quit – after all this is supposed to be fun.
