WILD MAGIC
Charles Moonstar is frustrated by the rules and hates his loneliness. He studies magic at the University of Immin, something he never wanted to do. He longs to break free, dreaming about how life could be. Why shouldn't it be simpler? A family heirloom and his desire to change, provide him with an opportunity. If he takes it, life might become different, unpredictable and possibly worth living.
Dizzy Redhammer is a loyal and dependable dwarf. He has been sent out from Asperg to see what Mahjicar can offer. Hoping to meet his father's expectations of what a dwarfish leader should be, he accepts his lot. He compiles a band of disparate individuals and names them, 'The Northdale Neophytes'. They should be handy in a fight.
High Mage Sinster is a narcissistic, tyrant who wants to have much, much more, because what he has just isn't enough. He's head of the University, has a seat on the Great Council and doesn't suffer fools gladly. Magic is in everything, is everywhere and no one knows it better than him. Well, at least that's what he thought. Then there was the Blink.
Times are changing. The battle between the rigid, authoritative control of magic and an alternative magic not bound by rules is just beginning.
Please be aware that this novel contains language and scenes that are graphic and sometimes of a sexual nature, which may not be appropriate for younger readers.
