My Photo interests
I look for beauty in the small creatures I find either locally or in marine environments. My journal and blipfolio will probably reflect this interest in macro subjects. I try to get my photography right 'in camera' and keep the photoshopping to a minimum.

My Hobbies and Interests
Principally Conchology and Malacology. I specialise in the study of the diversity, biogeography and evolutionary history of the marine gastropod families Marginellidae and Cystiscidae. I have travelled to many parts of the world on field trips and holidays to collect and photograph these often tiny animals, for inclusion in reviews and new species descriptions which I publish in scientific malacological journals. Currently I am working in association with the Paris Museum of Natural History on the material collected on their biodiversity expeditions in the South Pacific.
My Job
I'm a dentist during the day.
My Heroes
Alfred Russel Wallace and Charles Darwin
