Signed up accidentally trying to find a friends account, but now I’m here I guess I might as well give it a go!

Why photography? I get a real kick out of looking at other peoples photos - processed and straight from the camera. I love the way that no two people will see the same scene or object in the same way - everyone will frame it differently, will focus on it in a different way, and some will process it to 'enhance' the image in a way that makes you go "wow!".

As a design engineer - I need to know how the world operates, so this site is my motivation to finally get to grips with all the twiddly little knobs and dials on the back of the camera, and see where it takes me!

Is Blipfoto a blogging site or a photography site? So far it seems untill i can polish up my photography, I shall be distracting you all with a daily ramble! Very early days for me, but looking around here, I’m inspired!
