I was born in Durham and spent my youth in the north east, with work later taking me to other ends of the country. I qualified as a town planner and chartered surveyor ending up doing project management for mega-bucks schemes.
When I took up photography more seriously in 2006, rather than centre on the architectural world which had been my career, I found the greatest fun in shooting wild animals (big ones) and the wonderful countryside which surrounds us. I am getting better but never quite seem to get it right. So joining blipfoto is an attempt to use my camera more often and become more competent in the process.
