I've always been interested in photography and have never been without a camera nearby since my parents bought me a camera for Christmas when I was 9 years old.

Having said that, photography has been an 'interest' not my main hobby. That has been my involvement with dogs. Showing, judging and agility. But now that I'm retired and for the first time in my life have no young dog waiting in the wings I've decided to try and work on my camera skills. I'm finding it a huge learning curve, but it keeps me busy and amused.

I know a few people who blip and I love the idea of keeping a kind of open diary of my day to day life and perhaps one day my great grandchildren will enjoy reading about life in 2019, and hopefully my photography will improve.
