I started using blipfoto at the end of January 2013 after I took a one day photography course. I don't have a DSLR camera but I have been using a compact system camera with interchangeable lenses that I bought just before the London Olympics.

My photo "snapping" up to now has consisted of pointing at something that interests me and pressing the button on auto with various point and shoot cameras. I'm hoping to use blipfoto as an excuse to be more creative and use my Panasonic Lumix on more manual settings
