I'm an old introverted woman of 85 who lives alone and likes it.  Born in Scotland, taught English briefly in Paris than trained as a librarian.  Spent ten years in  London working for Westminster City Council and then the  London County Council before  returning to Scotland, briefly to Galloway and then to Fife.  Organised library services for young people until I retired 27 years ago.  Hobbies - obviously reading, hill-walking, patchwork and applique, embroidery, photography, gardening and a bit of writing.   Now partially disabled so the hills have gone and the sewing is in abeyance.  In other words I have become very lazy and a bit of a couch potato.
