I have retired from two careers, finance and farming.  I split my time between Clerkenwell and the Chilterns.  I love photography, travelling to interesting places (off-the-beaten track if possible), and listening to music.

I am a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society and a member of a really friendly photographic society, the City of London & Cripplegate Photographic Society (there are a few of us here!).  My website is hilarybarton and here is my Instagram account.

I played violin at school (and MrHCB played the clarinet) but life got in the way after that.  So now we support musicians wherever we can.  We are Patrons/Friends of Garsington Opera, the London Symphony Orchestra, the Academy of Ancient Music, Orpheus Sinfonia and Tenebrae.
