I've been an amateur photographer for a decent number of decades now.  Joining the Blip community has given me the opportunity to practise the art of seeing on an everyday basis. Exchanging comments with other Blippers is something quite invaluable and has meant a lot to me as a photographer.  This, I think, has made me a bit more professional but I still enjoy the "amore" part of my relation to photography.  I'm of the opinion that images should speak for themselves so I usually don't give much information about my Blips.  Maybe I'm not the most frequent commenter but when I do I sometimes try to write a few more words explaining why I like what I see.
