Well, after months of filing with the basic account -- and trying several times but not succeeding at upgrading -- i've finally done it. And i'm excited by the possibilities.

I messed around with a Brownie when i was young. And then later, changing careers, took a course in photojournalism and used it on the first weekly newspaper i worked on as a reporter (reporters wrote and took pics). My favourite pic from the time, now lost, was of a riot that broke out in a small town and that i happened to be in the middle of.

But i've forgotten most of that. I had even mostly forgotten how to take pics and my interest was revived when i got an iphone and fell in love with how accessible it is. So i've been relearning, and learning, both things fun and good for my brain wrinkles. And for keeping me focused on the moment.

Most of the time i live in southern France. I travel for my work, sometimes to odd places. Thanks to 5000Vines, who encouraged me to become a blipper, i'm looking forward to sharing those and to learning more about you.
