I'm a very amateur photographer, but I like to share things that catch my eye, or photos that think are good. 

I love a challenge, so now I'm here, I plan to blip every day*. I'm not sure how interesting my pictures will be, however. At the moment, my entries are pretty random**. Although I have a nice dSLR (Canon EOS 7D) most of my entries are likely to be taken with my phone as I have a strong attachment (addiction?) to it and am rarely parted from it***. I would, however, like to take better pictures with my Canon, and hope to be inspired**** by the amazing pictures I've seen so far on Blipfoto.

I'm married and am the mother of two young adults, but I won't be posting family pics unless the family allows.*****

Update - December 2014: having been blipping for nearly two years, and in celebration of the new Blip.

* I blip nearly every day, a deliberate policy to stop the world ending if I miss a day.
** They still are :)
*** Still addicted to my phone but also got a wee Canon G16 which I carry with me at all times. It takes great pics.
**** I am inspired, you guys take awesome photos! I've even joined a camera club, and am buying new kit. Sometimes I spend ages on a photo, often I notice things that I would not have paid attention to if I wasn't looking for a Blip. Sometimes, however, I just snap something so I have an image to post. If I worried about how good my photos were, I'd rarely post anything. 
*****Turns out my kids don't mind me Blipping them. Sometimes they even volunteer!!

Updated Nov 2019: Have now hit a 6 year milestone (actually longer as I still don't blip every day).  Not a lot has changed, except that I have a new camera (Canon 7D Mk II) and the kids are older.
