I have been interested in photography since about the age of 8 with a Kodak instamatic and my parents bought me a Nikon FM when I was 18.  Over the years since then I took lots of photographs for historical reasons and particularly of my boys growing up.

Since I have moved to Cumbria and I have more time my photography has really changed and I hope it has improved.  I am looking at things differently now.

I have a Photography course at Kendal College with an inspirational tutor and have been on several photographic holidays in the UK and abroad which has helped too.

What is really nice is that this is a joint interest with my husband and it is great to get out together enjoying the landscape and taking photographs.  I find it very relaxing.
