I am a professional independent photojournalist whose body of work spans from editorail to commercial in his 34 years experience.

Upon completion of his studies at The University of The Arts in Philadelphia, Pa. Dave began is career as a photojournalist at The Philadelpjhia Inquirer. While at the paper he was assigned and covered shoots ranging from photographing Presidents of The United States to the everyday feature and sports stories.

From the Philadelphia Inquirer, Dave Jackson accepted the position as the Director of Photography at the famed Valley Forge Military Academy and College. Located in Wayne, Pa..During his many years at the academy, Dave was responsable for all the advertising images, international photo assignments as well as view books and the schools, state of the art, award winning web site. Dave was an Asscoiate Professor in the Arts Department, where he taught 'Visual Arts" on the high school as well as the college levels.

Dave is currently the Owner and Chief Photographer of ActionImages Photography. Serving clients in the higher education, health care and communications fields.
