My interest in photography started at a very early age, when I first got the smell of hypo in my nostrils in my Uncle Magnus’s dark room, and became fascinated by the pictures that could be created via that little box called a camera.   This fascination has never left me.   Today I tend to photograph whatever I believe to be beautiful in the world around me, particularly here in Keighley.   I’m also very fond of photographing landscapes, flowers, birds, and especially trains, another of my great loves.   If I had to describe my ‘style’, I’d probably say it was ‘nostalgic romantic’.
