I heard about blipfoto from an acquaintance and it just seemed like the perfect thing to do. I wanted to improve my photography skills. What better way to improve than taking photographs. I set myself the challenge of publishing a photograph every day for 365 days. Once I started I never looked back. Sometimes coming up with one image that was worth publishing involved taking many photographs. I had to learn a lot about the techniques of photography and the techniques of processing. It really was a learning curve.
I am lucky to have a wonderful and creative husband who helps me all the time. For the purposes of blipfoto he is know as Igor after the traditional helper of many a crazy or misguided villain. I would not be Anniemay without Igor.
After the first few blips I found a group of people on the blipfoto site who set challenge topics for the daily blip. Usually just a single word as a prompt for an image. We all commented on each others efforts and soon became a little community. Comments and words of encouragement from my fellow blippers are the food for the addiction that blipping has become. I thank them for joining me on the road.
This is my blipping journey in words and pictures.

Three years on and still blipping. Not missed a day!! Still enjoying meeting new people, still enjoying sharing all your lives, still enjoying your positive comments, still grateful for every star and heart and still wouldn't be Anniemay without Igor.
