Still doing all the things I was when I started Blip - even if I've slowed down a bit, and the bike is now e-assisted - and also taken up petanque since a terrain was created in our village.
I now rely on my phone for daily blips, so upgrade to the one with the best camera when I can! Definitely decided that I go out to do things and take photos, rather then going out with the camera in order to take photos!
December 2014:
Reached my birthday in December 2013, and was slightly surprised to realise that my next one is the big six-oh... so when a friend introduced me to Blipfoto, "60thyear" seemed a good tag to go by. I retired in 2010, and when people asked "but what will you do???" I found it hard to convince them that I wouldn't have a problem filling my time - but happily I have been proved right. I still ski, walk, play badminton, do Pilates, sail ( when friends invite us ), cycle etc, and hope to carry on doing so as long as possible. I have always been interested in taking "snaps", and even, on occasion, photographs. Trying to keep a Blipfoto daily journal has made me look out for more opportunities to point the camera, and I'm trying to be more creative.
