I decided to put up a new avatar, photo credit goes to Ninniex. It was taken at a blipmeet in Perth. I have met some lovely people along the blip journey, some via our journals and some in ‘real’ life.

Most of my blips are something that has happened during the day, not always of significance but on looking back they mean something to me. I’m not a fan of sitting at the computer for hours so most shots are SOOC. I now use blip as a record of my garden, grandchildren, pets, books etc. I started using an iPad, progressed to a Nikon D80, then a LUMIX Panasonic DMC FZ 1000 and iPhone 10.

I started blipping when I was 59 hence my name. Now I am a “59 and a bit” year old mother of 4. My husband and I have been married for 44 years and we have 8 beautiful grandchildren. We live in a small city 200 kilometres west of Sydney in Australia. I retired from a varied nursing career in 2018.
