I was taken aback recently when a photo magazine described me as a "veteran" photojournalist. Where did all that time go? It only seemed like yesterday that I picked up a Speed Graphic in my first professional job. 45 years have flown by like the click of a shutter. Now raising a young family in Australia's island state of Tasmania, and shooting digital, I find photography as interesting and exciting as I did back when I started.
