Born in England just before they won the World Cup. Typical English childhood, trade qualification, contract IT worker in London through the 80s which allowed me me to spend evenings in Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club seeing and hearing the greats. Collected records, and was a bedroom DJ and fairly bad (as in not good) alto saxophonist. Back packed to Sydney, saw their Bicentennial, returned to England. Backpacked around India and Asia. Emigrated to Aotearoa. Worked in IT. Hosted radio shows. Moved to Oz. Travelled Oz. Maintained a career. Got hooked on 4WDing. Hosted radio shows. Discovered photography. Moved back to Aotearoa.
