Living in Kineton, Warwickshire,  I have been taking photographs since the  1970s.  At first with my father's Kodak Retina   until I bought a Pentax ME Super with one of my early pay cheques.  Went for a DSLR (Canon 350D in ~2006)

Mostly interested in landscape & wildlife photography and developing interests in still life & macro.   As we now have two grandchildren, my portraits are slowly improving too.

Currently using a Canon M5 for walk about days and 5D mk4  when I have the time for filters etc.

I didn't find a blip every day when I first started but have slowly arrived at the idea of blipping something each day.  Looking for interesting images has led me into types of photography I would never have thought of trying e.g being asked to photograph a local choir and providing landscapes for a village news sheet. I've also taken part in a gallery exhibition and had one image used as a weather forecast background. 
Blipfoto has definitely been a positive influence on my view of the world, and what a great community it is too.

Away from photography I am a chartered electrical engineer, although I retired in mid-September 2018 :-)  Married to Gill, we have two brilliant grown up children, and two grandchildren.   Cycling and live music are my other 'interests'.  Retirement/Late Middle Age crisis purchase was a motorhome - so off to see Europe next year :-)
