My name is Matt and live just outside of Washington, DC.  I enjoy photography, genealogy, and all living beings (especially dogs and cats). 

I joined BlipFoto on December 21, 2011 at the recommendation of a friend and have been hooked ever since.  This site brings folks together from all over the world and allows sharing of everyday events with others and to see some pretty awesome photography.

I do appreciate those that regularly view and comment on my work and will try to return that courtesy to others as time permits.  Work and personal life will dictate how often that happens.
