Full fountain

After the renovations the fountain in the centre of the village is now filling up with water again and soon, perhaps, it will be covered with moss as before, which makes it look more natural, although the bare stone has its own beauty. The tombstone-like structure behind it supports the drinking water tap to replace the fresh water that used to run in the fountain. In the background the usual group of old men chat and wait for their lunch to be cooked (and there's one woman...how was she allowed in, I wonder?). This is where they spend winter mornings, in the bus shelter, in summer they sit on the benches around the plane tree near the fountain.
