It's amazing how a simple act can lift your spirits!

Was walking through clouds of horrible smelly dust to the supermarket when I came across this heap of liquefacted dirt on the top of which someone had placed a bright pot of red geraniums!

Made me smile!

We are coping fine, have settled into a routine and we are now able to help others more. We have good friends in much harder hit suburbs and we were able to have them over to dinner last night and will be seeing a lot more of them in the next little while. My friend was in a building in the square when the earthquake hit, one of the lucky ones who made it out, but it has hit her hard.
