Lemon curd meditation, or, how to eat the sun
At the stove, stirring,
head filled with bright citrus song
and hunger for sun.

Impulsively grabbed some Meyer lemons at the grocery store today, and after checking out dozens of recipes, decided to use them in this recipe for lemon curd. After seeing these lemon-glazed madeleines, I am thinking tomorrow I might try lemon-curd-filled madeleines. Which will of course make me think of my dear friend in Paris, who introduced me to the joys of those sweet buttery puffs of deliciousness. My madeleine molds have been sadly underused since I got home from France.
