If you google, "how old should my dog be before I get another?" the general consensus is 2 years. So, on the surface, getting a new puppy to add to the 10 month old puppy you already have (who you've only had for 5 months in the first place) is probably a bit of a stupid idea. Along with having a baby when you're at university. And having your 4th child a year after your 3rd. And moving to NY just because you and your husband got drunk one night and decided it was a good idea. Yet, they've all worked.
