My Wall

This is the wall i've been building.

My first attempt at any significant length of brick work. I'm using old hand-made bricks that i'm re-using after knocking down our old coal shed. They're wonderful things, probably well over a 100 years old; varying in size, colour and square-ness.

They are, with hindsight, not the best material to learn how to build a wall, but it's looking pretty good.

5m long, double skin, 4 bricks high so far
