Cock up

Heaven knows what possessed us to think that any purchase at PC World could go well. It's a pity really, the spec was good, the price seemed good and it was in stock and could be reserved for collection. OK, it was a PC but it wasn't for me it was for Mandy's work so needs to be able eat numbers with the software she has (which needs Windows). The plan that emerged was to reserve it at the Dundee shop since that would allow us to visit Camperdown Country Park and have a wander / cycle with the bairns. We'd go to the park first rather than leave a brand new laptop in the car.

So we did and when they kicked us out at 3.30pm (eh? but not to worry, in the summer they stay open until 4.30pm. I'm guessing this place is run by a Council) and the kids had played in the park we headed to PC World to pick up the laptop.

Laptop? What laptop? Nothing reserved here. Never mind says I, we can just take one from stock. Haven't got any. Sassafassarassin'. Too late to get to Corstorphine but we decided not to reward their uselessness with a sale. The morons.
