Art For Art's Sake

I've had another cultural Sunday. First of all I went to The Great North Museum where they had a thought-provoking exhibition on entitled 'Coming of Age' the Art and Science of Ageing. Then I headed across town to The Laing Art Gallery to view some interesting paintings of Newcastle by the northern genius John Martin. Quite a pleasant afternoon on the hole.

Today's shot is of a massive light. Why? - Because I liked the minimalist design aesthetic.
