Computer woes

Today has not been a very good day for computers in our house.

We started the day with a dead monitor on one of the computers. We swapped the monitor with another one but still no joy. Computer was dead. In our fault tracking, we'd connected the dead monitor to our other computer - disaster. That computer then failed too! We've no idea if there's been some kind of power surge (they have protected power supplies supposedly) or whether the rogue monitor has killed the second computer.

The picture shows husband replacing the motherboard of the second computer - luckily it now works OK (but we will not be using the monitor again!).

Replacement computer now on order to replace the first one - luckily we have a cheap(ish) computer dealer just up the road.

And it rained nearly all day (apart from when I was at the gym).

Not a good day!
