Ladybirds Awakening

I was out in the garden carrying out some coppicing work and had stopped for a well-earned tea break in the sunshine. Discussing the possibilty of extending our driveway and taking out a conifer I noticed upon closer inspetion that there was rather a great number of clusters of Ladybirds tucked up nice n warm within its 'leaves'.

I was amazed at just how many groups of Ladybirds there were - is this the first sighting that apart from Snowdrops and Crocuses appearing, Spring is at last on the way?!

Has anyone else got numerous Ladybirds in in their garden - would be interested to knwow
