Shoe Tree

If you go down to the woods today, you'll see a tree made of shoes...

This is in Armstrong Park, Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne. People have tied shoes together and thrown them over the branches of the trees. I think I like it.

Armstrong Park is part of the Dene that Lord Armstrong gave to the City of Newcastle in the last 1800s - it's one of the best things about Newcastle. This is a walk further south from the waterfall I blipped last weekend...
