Golden Gate Bridge

Wednesday we drove over to San Francisco hoping to go to City Lights Bookstore but nary a place to park was found. So we headed over to Golden Gate Park and connected up once again with my friend Kathleen. We walked around the Japanese gardens and the arboretum---I did lots of sitting as my one knee actually got worse after the synvisk injection! We had a lovely tea in the gardens and then K drove us around the park to view the Golden Gate bridge, the cliff house overlooking seal rocks and then parted ways again. Not before a sea gull unloaded on my head and coat however! Then R and I went to locate Tommy's joint --a place Big R had seen on diners, dives and drive inns on the Food network. He wanted to eat there---then a return trip from hell to Oakland as I ended up having to go over and back on the Bay Bridge twice and also once in the fast trak lane where we did not belong---mistake but a flashing shot of us doing this will mean a ticket in the mail! Quite the day and a migraine to boot--but the company of K and the views were worth it all!
