View of Bay Bridge

Monday we met Randy's best childhood buddy from second grade in Pa. and went to lunch near where he works in Berkley as an architect. In the evening we took him home to where he owns a lovely place with his partner Walt near the Deloris Park section of San Francisco. Doug showed us his beautiful garden where he had hand carried up and put in tons of rocks...it was incredible. He had many succulents and ferns---a hillside labor of love and beautiful place of respite. Before dinner Walt showed us the view from the upper spare "exercise" room and then we walked to a nice dinner place for salad and pizza.
