California Sky

Yesterday (Day 1 of road trip south) did not go as I had envisioned. What was supposed to be a leisurely time in Jacksonville and Ashland ended up to be a soaking snowstorm. Deciding to move on to Shasta City where we knew there was a cute Italian restaurant and nice place to stay, we found "NO VACANCY." So, on to Redding where our dinner turned out to be take out hamburgers at In and Out. The evening ended with my husband wielding a plunger and snake in the bathroom! (I know, too much information)
Today was better, so it was all worth it. The scenery was beautiful and I couldn't resist this sky, even though I had some great pictures of the flowering almond trees.
