Homeward

My final mountain shot - as we left Champagny this morning to get the flight home. Its a cracker of a spot.

A great trip and three new Grands Chiens initiated (we all have dog radio call signs - I was Sled Dog until last year because of a freak drunken sledging accident, but am now Snoopy - long story).

I also learnt something rather interesting about my photography this week. I have been using my little old 4 megapixel camera and it has performed really well - some great shots. It is a bit slower than the DSLR - so not so good for action shots, but its made me realise that the tool is not so important as the idea that you are trying to capture.
