Starry, Starry Night

I thought I'd muck about with long exposures and some stars this evening. It was that or a macro shot of some coloured pencils. There's a nasty yellow glare from streetlights and Bangor town centre about two miles distant but in this 30 second exposure I still managed to get some stars as well as some nice detail on the trees in my back garden.
A five minute exposure was too much but I managed to capture a plane in flight which was interesting. I'll definitely try this again but somewhere with much less light pollution.
