Abandoned and neglected 12
Last of the series! I'll try to come up with a new theme soon, but I think that for the next week or so I'll just have a wee break from themes.
Possible future themes:
-things I like
-Black and white pictures of people
-Revisiting my colour project with my new camera (basically taking a picture featuring a different colour every day, this time using my new camera)
-Small details
We'll see...
I have decided to post another graffiti picture for my last entry of the series. I would have liked to post something different but, unfortunately, on my working days blip opportunities are rather restricted.
This is an old car park that, I believe, will be turned into a hotel and leisure centre soon. I think they're starting the works now, but it's been abandoned for quite a while.
My day wasn't as chaotic as I thought it would be. It was busy but ok, considering that I hate working on Saturdays. Sundays, I don't mind.
On my way back from work a photographer that sells pictures of Edinburgh in the Royal Mile recognised me from having seen me outside a pub (people always do, I think it's my hair). I had a chat with him and then a friend of his appeared. He was actually the silver human statue that stood oposite my place of work during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. I recognised his face immediately(I'm good at recognising faces but really bad with names). He's from Germany. I asked him how he manages to stand so still in the cold and he told me that it's just a question of concetration, mind over body. I wish I could do that!
Now relaxing. Back to work tomorrow.
